Information Security Management

To ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the university's information assets and to comply with relevant laws and regulations, the university introduced the Information Security Management System (ISMS) starting in 2009. This initiative aims to strengthen our information security defenses. Through multiple external audits and verifications, the protection measures in place have been fully recognized:

  • From 2009 onwards, the Information Technology Office implemented the ISMS Information Security Management System.
  • In July 2010, the university passed the third-party external audit conducted by the Education Institution Information Security Verification Center.
  • In 2013, 2016, and 2019, the university passed the updated security standards and verification procedures.

These accomplishments confirm that the university has a solid capacity for protecting information assets and continuously maintains its information security certification to ensure the ongoing improvement of security management standards.

Implementation of Information Security Management System (ISMS)

Starting in 2023, the university has fully implemented ISMS and is actively participating in the information security performance enhancement initiatives promoted by the Ministry of Education. We have established the "Information Security Promotion Committee," which is responsible for reviewing and approving information security management goals and policies, as well as supervising the university's compliance with relevant regulations. The committee is also in charge of ensuring the continuous improvement of the university's information security measures in line with policies, laws, and updated security requirements.
